Acupuncture: Hand KHT (Needles/Magnets)
Korean Hand Therapy: Treat your whole body through your hands
Service Description
Microsystems acupuncture is based on the belief that small well-defined areas of the body, such as the hand, foot, face, scalp and ear, correspond to all organs and parts of the body. Evidence shows that stimulating these areas, usually with needles, may help to deal with symptoms such as anxiety or general stresses. In a typical microsystems acupuncture session, the practitioner will ask questions about previous medical history, general physical and emotional health, as well as medication, drug use, diet and lifestyle. Treatment generally involves the stimulation of defined points on a distinct area of the body using a variety of techniques such as acupuncture, electrical stimulation or pellets. Microsystems acupuncture is commonly used in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, prisons, drug rehab units and complementary health clinics alongside medical treatments. KHT is a form of acupuncture in which only the hands are used instead of the body itself to stimulate points. It's a microsystem in which the entire body system is reflected in the hands alone and is either needled or stimulated with magnets or both during the treatment.
